
Marquette, MI – 1/29/17 – Marquette Wrestling Head Coach Tony Gentz stopped by this afternoon to talk about his teams 4th place finish this past weekend at the Northern Michigan Wrestling Championships in Gaylord. The Redmen had a total of 125 points for the weekend which was good for 12 points more than Escanaba who placed 5th. The Redmen are defending conference champs and look to improve their record tonight when they take on the Negaunee Miners.
The Negaunee Miners Boys Basketball team will have a tough task tonight taking on an undefeted Iron Mountain team that comes in at 10-0 on the year. Negaunee Miners head coach Dan Waterman joined us today to talk about their latest victory over Manistique and the keys to tonight’s game against the Mountaineers. The game will begin at 7:00 pm.
The Detroit Pistons have announced that guard Avery Bradley who was picked up in the off-season in a trade with the Boston Celtics, has been placed on the trading block. The Pistons have received an offer from the Los Angeles Lakers who offered up guard Jordan Clarkston. The NBA trade deadline is on February 9th at 3 pm.
