The Marquette Redmen boys varsity soccer team traveled to Houghton on Saturday, October 1 and took home a victory 7-2.
First half goal scorers were Max Dawson from Isaac Johnson and Evan Sysko, Dawson on a penalty kick, Kaleb Chipelewski from Dixon Poggi on a corner kick, and Ezra Pickard from Dawson.
Second half goal scorers were Dawson from Ethan Sandstrom, Chipelewski from Cody Struck, Struck from Ben Wilson and Alexi Caron.
James Barch tended net for the Redman and faced two shots in the first half and four in the second half. Houghton scored both of their goals in the second half.
Marquette travels to Sault Ste. Marie on Wednesday, October 6. Their record on the season is 18-2-2.
