Ishpeming, MI – December 18, 2015 – The Two Tickets to Paradise giveaway party was a huge success! Our winner won a trip to Riu Palace Riviera Maya in Mexico from Holiday Travel and Great Lakes Radio! The Red Rock Lanes and Banquet Center was packed with finalists looking for a night of food, fun, and prizes!

Her prize, a dream vacation from Holiday Travel, Funjet Vacations, and RIU Hotels and Resorts, includes an all-inclusive, 5-night stay for two at the Riu Palace Riviera Maya, a Park ‘N Fly hotel room for two in Chicago or Milwaukee, two round-trip charter flights from Chicago or Milwaukee to Cancun, and round-trip transfers from the airport to the resort!

The giveaway party was a blast for all ages!

At 6:30pm, Dennis and DeeDee opened the doors to the Red Rock Lanes and Banquet Center in Ishpeming and started registering the finalists. Walt Lindala and Adam Carpenter took center stage to get the party started.

Mama Russo’s did a fantastic job catering. Their homemade Italian food never disappoints! Guests loaded their plates high with lasagna, cudighi bites, and salads.

After dinner, Walt and Adam gave out a ton of door prizes from local businesses. Lake Superior Knives gave away a Buck folding knife to Linn Klemola, a lucky finalist from Gwinn, Michigan.

Biolife Plasma Services raffled off two $50.00 gift cards to Max Smith from Rochester, and Angela Whitman from Manistique. All the proceeds from Biolife’s raffle will go to a family in need this holiday season. Then, it was time for everyone to get out of their seats for a festive game of corn hole!

Each guest got one chance to toss a small bean bag through a hole. Guests who sunk the shot won a free game of bowling from Red Rock Lanes in Ishpeming!

Adam introduced the crew from Bayside Beverage (a division of Great Lakes Wine and Spirits) to announce the next big giveaway, Growl Into Spring!

Finally, our 7 grand prize finalists were drawn. The finalists picked out their favorite station envelopes, and on the count of three, ripped open the envelopes to see what their prize would be. Our winner from Marquette won the grand prize and will be enjoying a vacation in Mexico thanks to Holiday Travel Vacations!

The other 6 finalists received stunning prize packages as well. Garret Green won the $100 Gift Certificate from Wattsson & Wattsson Jewelers in Marquette. Amber Robiutaille won the Guy’s Gift Basket, and Nollan Pettersen won the Women’s Gift Basket from Super One Foods. Brenda Alexander won the Car Care Club Membership from Southside Automotive. Cassandra Evers won the Miller High Life Cooler Package from Bayside Beverage, a Division of Great Lakes Wine & Spirits, and Pam Prusi won the $100 gift certificate from MC Sports!
