Marquette, MI – February 15, 2018 – We’re back at Lions Field in Marquette Township today for a special event. Help support the Ice Under Cover project, a plan to build a roof over Lions Field Ice Rink. Bring your kid over after school to watch an intrasquad game against the Northern Michigan University Wildcats Hockey Team!
Ryan Ranguette and Mike Plourde will be broadcasting live from the rink with all of the hockey action. Come down to watch or play and hear about the plans to improve the longevity of the ice. Listeners will also hear from NMU Hockey Head Coach, Grant Potulny, live on Fox Sports Marquette 105.1 & 99.9. The game starts at 4:00pm!
Come down and enjoy a fun game in the township to support improvements of the park’s skating rink.
Special thanks to The Marquette Charter Township, Marquette Township Business Association, Great Lakes Radio, Northern Michigan University, Marquette Mutineers, and Vandenboom School for helping make Ice Under Cover happen.
