Marquette, MI – November 11th, 2025 – Today marked the first episode of the Big Local Sports Show hosted by Tyler Young and cohosted by Mason Bancroft. The show will be live from Slabz in the Ramada Inn on Tuesdays at 10 a.m. We encourage listeners to come check it out in person. You can also listen on Fox Sports Marquette 105.1, or the replay on 97.5 GTO FM at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday night.
The main emphasis is to cover local youth sports that don’t get much attention. Each week, we’ll invite a local guest to visit with us and break down some local sports highlights. Today, John Nebel joined us to talk about youth hockey and his more than 1,600 wins in his career. In the final 10 minutes, Traci Leonard joined us, who played a crucial role in setting up this sports show.
