Tigers Win On Fulmer’s Arm And Fitness

Marquette, MI – 6/30/17 – Brad Ausmus walked out to the mound with one out left in the ninth to relive Tigers starter Michael Fulmer. Fulmer went 8 2/3 innings, retiring the first nine batters of the game and ended up with seven strikeouts. Tigers outfielder Justin Upton had a three run homer in the in first. Tigers closer Justin Wilson came in and closed it out in the ninth striking out Brandon Moss. The Tigers will now direct their attention to the Cleveland Indians for a four game series.
Issac Wedig came in this morning to talk about fitness. Issac is from Gwinn and graduated high school with Luke Ghiardi. He then went to Northern Michigan University where he graduated with a degree.
