A Florida Dog Trainer was stripped of his racing license due to an unfair advantage. That advantage, was not any type of steroid but rather the fact he was pumping his greyhounds with cocaine. One of the trainers greyhounds named the Flying Tidalwave tested positive for cocaine after winning a race. The Trainer Malcolm McAllister personally denies that he gave the dogs cocaine but the case remains open.
The 143rd Kentucky Derby will be up for grabs on Saturday with a field of twenty horses. The main story going into the race is not the favorite but a horse with 1-33 odds to win it all, “Patch”. The one horse that is being talked about will be racing with only one eye, how Patch lost his eye remains a mystery. Patch is considered a long shot Saturday but already has a big social media and fan following. If he wins, he will be the first horse to win the derby with one eye.
