Tigers Go Through Pitchers, The News Guy And Football

Marquette, MI – 8/17/17 – The Detroit Tigers have been on the struggle bus all season and it continued you last night when they lost to the Texas Rangers 12-6. The Tigers went through a season high eight pitchers in the contest. Starter Anibal Sanchez was done after 2 1/3 innings and gave up four runs. Rangers Elvis Andrus had the go-ahead home run in the fifth and added 4 RBI for Texas. The Tigers now look to Thursday for a much needed day off.

The Detroit Lions and Green Bay Packers will both continue their pre-seasons this weekend. The Detroit Lions will take on the New York Jets at home on Saturday at 4:30 pm. The Green Bay Packers will also play on Saturday against the Washington Redskins in Washington, that game will begin at 7:30 pm.
