Tigers Get Crushed, NFL Begins And NFL Picks

Marquette, MI – 9/7/17 – The Detroit Tigers struggled on Wednesday night falling to American League Central rival Kansas City Royals 13-2. The Royals collected their seventh win in their past eight games against the Tigers, and are currently 2 1/2 games behind Minnesota for the second wild-card spot. Royals catcher Salvador Perez drove in three runs and Alcides Escobar added four hits falling short of the cycle. The Tigers is off on Thursday before starting a series in Toronto.
The NFL regular season begins tonight with the Super Bowl Champions New England Patriots hosting AFC foe Kansas City Chiefs. The Chiefs went 12-4 last season losing in the playoffs to the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Patriots are coming off a Super Bowl victory and look to be one of the best teams in the NFL this year. Game time is set for 8:30 pm tonight at Gillette Stadium.
Bill Tibor stopped in this morning to talk NFL and picks of the week. Ryan, Luke and Bill will compete the whole season for the best record among the picks that are made. The winner at the end of the year will receive his favorite teams hoodie. The loser will have a press conference stating why they know nothing about the NFL.
