The Sports Drive: What is “Cheating”

Marquette, MIJuly 26, 2019 – With the Tour de France in full swing and Lance Armstrong coming up in “This Day in Sports History (brought to you by the Landmark Inn), Luke and Tyler had a brief discussion about what is “cheating” on yesterday’s show. Today, the two gave definitions they found, and had a lengthy and healthy discussion about what exactly “cheating” is. Luke argues it’s going outside of the rules to gain a competitive advantage, but if the entire field is playing by the same set of rules outside of the written rule and everyone is on a level playing field, it isn’t cheating. Tyler argues anything done outside of the rule book is cheating. What say you?
