The Sports Drive: WCHA Award Winners, National Championship Reaction, and Big Game in the Big Ten
- Updated: January 12, 2021

Marquette, MI – January 12, 2021 – The WCHA handed out their players of the week awards on Monday and for the third straight week, a pair of players from the team that played Northern Michigan over the weekend won. Lake Superior State players took home Goalie and Forward of the week honors, respectively. On The Sports Drive today, Luke and Tyler talk how Northern can figure it out to not be the team everyone wants to play.
The Alabama Crimson Tide and head coach Nick Saban won their 6th title in the last decade Monday night with a route of Ohio State 52-24. Luke and Tyler discuss not only the dominance, but how college football needs change before it becomes too boring.
The Michigan Wolverines men’s basketball team is the lone undefeated team left in the Big Ten. That could change tonight when they welcome #9 Wisconsin to Ann Arbor. Luke and Tyler break down the big matchup.
