The Sports Drive: Walt Lindala Talks Packers Fan Psyche
- Updated: January 4, 2019

Marquette, MI – January 4, 2019 – The Green Bay Packers and their fans are currently in uncharted waters with the Packers having missed the playoffs for 2 consecutive years. The team will have a new coach for the first time in 13 years. Walt Lindala, Great Lakes Radio News Director and Packers fan, joined Luke on the Sports Drive to talk about how Packers fans are feeling and if there is still a sense of optimism.
Piggy-backing off yesterday’s discussion about popular sports traditions, Luke and Mark continued that today with some new entries. “Jump Around” at Camp-Randall, the children’s hospital wave at Iowa, and the “Silent Night” game at Taylor University were among some of the favorites.
Plus: NFL Wild Card Picks; Justin Fields to transfer to OSU
