The Sports Drive: US Sports Gambling Now Legal; Charter Fishing Talk
- Updated: May 14, 2018

Marquette, MI – May 14, 2018 – The big news coming out of the sports world today is the Supreme Court struck down a federal law in place since 1992 that will allow states to legalize sports betting. On Monday the Supreme Court ruled that the Professional and Amateur Sports Protection Act (PAPSA) is unconstitutional. How will this change the sports landscape as we know it?
With the summer months fast approaching, the only major sport that will be in season will be the MLB. The Sports Drive wanted to think outside the box and talked with Captain John Tomzyck of Daybreak Charters. Captain John talked all about fishing the Great Lakes, which is not like fishing your typical lake.
MSHS Girls Soccer went 2-1 over the weekend in Waupaca, Wisconsin to improve to 8-2-1 on the season. Head Coach Anna Duckworth joined the show to talk about her weekend, her team, and her season.
Tune into the Sports Drive every weekday from 3-5pm on Fox Sports Marquette 105.1 – 99.9 and online at foxsportsmarquette.com
