- Updated: June 29, 2018

Marquette,MI – June 29, 2018 – This week has flown by for the U.P. Football All-Star Coaches and Players, and for the Director, Todd Goldbeck. Todd joined the Sports Drive for the 5th and final day and recapped an exceptional week. From the food drive Monday, to the skills competition Wednesday, the Bay Cliff trip Thursday and the banquet tonight, it has been an incredible week.
With the fun week coming to a close the Sports Drive ran a “Best of” All Star week highlighting the best moments in coverage on the Sports Drive for the 11th Annual U.P. All Star Football Game. This included interviews with coaches including Jeff Olson, Mike Berutti, Al Stenberg, and Scott Syrjala. Plus hear some memories from long time broadcaster of the game, Mike Plourde.
The 11th Annual U.P. Football All Star Game takes place tomorrow at the Superior Dome in Marquette. Doors open at noon with kickoff at 1pm. If you can’t make it to the game, Mike Plourde and Bob Nadeau have the call for you on our sister stations 103.3 WFXD and 92.7 WRPP. Pregame begins at 12:30 with kickoff at 1pm.
