The Sports Drive: Troy Mattson Talks Women’s Wildcat Basketball
- Updated: December 13, 2018

Marquette, MI – December 13, 2018 – The Northern Michigan University Women’s Basketball team is off to a great start. The Wildcats are 9-2 overall with a perfect 4-0 mark in GLIAC play. Head Coach Troy Mattson joined Mark and Luke on the Sports Drive and while he is happy with how the team has been playing, he doesn’t think this team has reached their potential yet. Which is good news for Wildcats fans.
Are you concerned about top college football players, and top NFL prospects are sitting out non College Football Playoff-Bowl Games? Luke and Mark discuss the trend, and why they don’t think it’s a big deal, until guys start doing it in playoff games. They also discuss how the NCAA can buck the trend.
Plus: NFL Picks; Luke vs Vegas; 2001 Lakers vs Warriors
Tune into the Sports Drive weekdays from 3-5pm on Fox Sports Marquette 105.1 – 99.9 and online at foxsportsmarquette.com
