The Sports Drive: Tiger Woods Wins One for the History Books
- Updated: April 15, 2019

Marquette, MI – April 15, 2019 – The last time Tiger Woods won one of golf’s major championships, was the U.S. Open in 2008. 11 years ago. Since then, his life had been flipped upside down, his body had turned on him, and he almost gave up golf for good.
And then, by some sort of miracle, arguably the greatest golfer of all time returned to the mountain top. Woods captured his 5th green jacket, and 15th major championship. Many, including himself, thought he was done winning majors.
Luke and Mark talk what that moment meant for the game of golf, and for sports.
Tune into the Sports Drive weekdays from 3-5pm on Fox Sports Marquette 105.1 – 99.9 and online at foxsportsmarquette.com
