Marquette, MI – July 22, 2022 – The Division I committee recently recommended to the NCAA that they get rid of the “one-time” portion of their free transfer rule. Currently, a student-athlete can transfer one time to a new school without having to sit out, but if they transfer a second time, they must sit out a year before competing. Getting rid of this clause would allow student-athletes to transfer as many times as they want without penalty. Luke and Tyler discuss whether that’s a good idea or not.
