The Sports Drive: MSHS AD Alex Tiseo + Negaunee Miners Girls Basketball Coach Brandon Sager
- Updated: December 11, 2018

Marquette, MI – December 11, 2018 – There are no shortage of events happening Tuesday for Marquette Senior High School winter sports teams. Both basketball teams and hockey are all in action on the Great Lakes Radio Sports Family of Networks, in addition to swimming & dive. Alex Tiseo, MSHS AD, joined the Sports Drive to talk about all the events, and the biggest one happening at the MSHS gymnasium. Marquette will be honoring and naming their gymnasium after Barb Crill, who led the Redettes basketball team to a 1976 Class A basketball state championship ahead of the Redettes match up with the Negaunee Miners.
With all of the things surrounding the Marquette-Negaunee match up tonight, Brandon Sager hopes his Miners girls basketball team ignore the distractions and are ready to play. The Miners are 2-0 after blowout wins in their first two games, and Sager thinks this is going to be a good litmus test. He joined Luke on the show to talk about his team “flying under the radar.”
