The Sports Drive: Michigan Advances to National Championship
- Updated: April 2, 2018

Marquette, MI – April 2, 2018 – It was a fun Monday afternoon on the Sports Drive on Fox Sports Marquette 105.1-99.9. Especially for Luke, a Michigan fan, who got to talk about seeing his favorite team advance to Monday night’s national championship game.
Luke and Mark recapped the Final Four, which saw Michigan defeat Loyola-Chicago and Villanova destroy Kansas. Luke and Mark gave their predicitions for the game, Luke going with Michigan (obviously) and Mark choosing to go with the favorites, the Wildcats.
The guys also recapped a wild NCAA women’s basketball tournament. Notre Dame hit a buzzer beater to take down Goliath UCONN, and another buzzer beater on Sunday night to defeat Mississippi State and win a National Championship. Luke and Mark, who both picked UCONN running away, ate some crow.
The Tigers got their first win of the year today against Kansas City 6-1. Francisco Liriano threw 6.2 innings of 1-run baseball, and Victor Martinez went 2-3 while batting in 3 runs to pace the Tigers offensively.
Tune into the Sports Drive every weekday from 3-5pm on Fox Sports Marquette 105.1 – 99.9 and at foxsportsmarquette.com
