The Sports Drive: Mark Stonerock Kicks Off Week Long Concussion Series
- Updated: July 30, 2018

Marquette, MI – July 30, 2018 – It is a special week on the Sports Drive. With high school football practice kicking off one week from today, the Sports Drive is looking at concussions, football participation, and the safety of the game. The Sports Drive will be talking with experts in the medical field, coaches, and athletic directors all week to see how new information has changed the game.
The series began today when mark Stonerock of UP Rehab joined the show. Mark is an Athletic Trainer with UP Rehab and spends his Friday nights on the sidelines of high school football games tending to injuries and being on the lookout for players with concussion symptoms. Mark gives us an insight on protocol and how the handling of concussions has changed over the years.
The Sports Drive will be talking with Marquette Senior High School Athletic Director Alex Tiseo tomorrow.
Tune into the Sports Drive weekdays from 3-5pm on Fox Sports Marquette 105.1 – 99.9 and online at foxsportsmarquette.com
