The Sports Drive: Live From Kraft Hockeyville 2019
- Updated: September 26, 2019

Calumet, MI – September 26, 2019 – The Sports Drive was live from the Calumet Colosseum Thursday afternoon for Kraft Hockeyville 2019. Calumet was awarded the 2019 title of “Hockeyville” after a fan vote in March. The Colosseum won $150,000 courtesy of Kraft and the NHL for upgrades to the facility, and the right to host an NHL preseason contest. This year the Detroit Red Wings made the trip north to take on the defending Stanley Cup Champion St. Louis Blues.
It was a lot of hockey talk today. Michael Babcock joined the show today. Babcock has been instrumental in the organization of the event. He talked about how much the event has meant all week for the Calumet Community.
Ryan Stieg of the Mining Journal also joined the show today to give the guys the similarities and the differences between the Hockeyville hosted in Marquette at Lakeview and this one in Calumet.
Plus: NFL Picks; Week 5 High School Football Preview
Tune into the Sports Drive weekdays from 3-5pm on Fox Sports Marquette 105.1 – 99.9 and online at foxsportsmarquette.com
