Marquette, MI – May 9, 2018 – The Negaunee Boys Baseball Team has not gotten out to the start they may have hoped, but the young team continually sees improvement. The Miners are 1-9 on the season but head coach Jason Siik thinks they are better than their record indicates. Coach Siik joined the Sports Drive to talk about his Miners team and the season up to this point, as well as looking to the future.
There hasn’t been a lot of golf happening around Marquette County. With courses just starting to open, the Spring has been difficult on Ben Smith and his Marquette Redmen and Redette golf teams. Coach Smith joined the Sports Drive to talk about the difficulties this Spring has brought, and what it’s like to finally be golfing.
