The Sports Drive: Intense Masters Weekend
- Updated: April 9, 2018

Marquette, MI – April 9, 2018 – The 2018 Masters lived up to the mammoth expectations we give it every year once again. Patrick Reed went into Sunday with a three stroke lead, but there was far more drama on Sunday than anyone may have imagined. Jordan Spieth entered the day 9 strokes back but came roaring back, shooting an 8-under 64 to put a ton of pressure on Reed. Rickie Fowler also finished withing 1 stroke shooting 5-under on Sunday. But a lot of skill, and a little luck, gives Patrick Reed his first career major.
The Frozen Four finished up on Saturday night when Minnesota-Duluth upset the Notre Dame Fighting Irish 2-1 to claim a National Championship. Mark hesitated to pick UMD on Friday, but cautiously did. But he pulled no punches in claiming the brilliance in his pick!
Also on the show: The Tigers are in 2nd place, Michigan State Spring Game review, and the NFL Draft is coming quickly!
Tune into The Sports Drive weekdays from 3-5pm on Fox Sports Marquette 105.1-99.9 and foxsportsmarquette.com
