Division 4: Region 1; District 1: #2 Escanaba vs #3 Ludington – Saturday 1:00PM
Division 6: Region 1; District 1: #3 Westwood @ #2 Calumet – Friday 7:00PM
Division 7: Region 1; District 1: #2 Iron Mountain vs #3 Oscoda – Saturday 12:00PM

Two Great Northern Conference Athletics Directors – Alex Tiseo (Marquette) and Andy Jaques (Gladstone) – have proposed a UP “Super Conference” for football. The conference would consist of 19 teams, one large school and one small school, that they believe will help take care of scheduling issues for all teams. Alex Tiseo will join the Sports Drive tomorrow to fill in more details.
