The Sports Drive: George Niemi Talks Hematites 3-0 Start
- Updated: September 16, 2019

Marquette, MI – September 16, 2019 – The Ishpeming Hematites have started the season 3-0 after a 24-14 victory against the Norway Knights last Friday Knight. Hematites head coach George Niemi joined the Sports Drive today to talk about his team’s great start. He talks resiliency and the big matchup Friday night when Ishpeming hosts Westwood.
The Packers got a big win that forced fans to sweat a little more than the start of the game would have indicated. The Packers were up 21-0 early in the 2nd quarter but could not put up any more points in the game. The Vikings pulled within 21-16 in the 3rd quarter, but that Packers defense held strong. Walt Lindala joined the Sports Drive to talk about watching the game as a fan, and the future of this Packers season.
