- Updated: June 17, 2019

Marquette, MI – June 17, 2019 – The Escanaba Eskymo’s softball team completed their run of winning back-to-back Division 2 softball state championships with a 7-3 victory Saturday at Michigan State University. The Eskymo’s had some close calls during their run, but ultimately reached their goal. Eskymos’ head coach Gary Salo joined the Sports Drive to talk about the run, the program, and the future.
The NBA went less than 72 hours from crowning a champion to the main story line shifting. On Sunday the New Orleans Pelicans agreed to trade All-NBA player Anthony Davis to the Los Angeles Lakers for a trio of young players and a number of future assets. The trade rocked the NBA world, and Luke explains how it shifts the power in the league.
Tyler Young is filling in for Mark for the remainder of the week and today him and Luke looked around the area, talked the FIFA Women’s World Cup, and more!
