Marquette, MI – November 30, 2018 – The Sports Drive was cut an hour short today due to the Marquette Redmen Basketball season opener pre-game beginning at 5. Luke and Mark talked with Brad Nelson, head coach of the Redmen, Monday on the Sports Drive and had that interview for you ahead of Friday’s season opener.
Another area team in action Friday night are the Negaunee Miners. The Miners welcome in the Iron Mountain Mountaineers in what will surely be a great game. Luke and Mark caught up with Dan Waterman, head coach of the Miners, ahead of the Friday night battle. Waterman talked about his team needing to improve on defense and how his players growing from last year to this year will help create a successful season.
