The Sports Drive: Ben Smith Talks Marquette team Camp

Marquette, MI – July 24, 2019 – Marquette Redettes girls basketball coach Ben Smith joined the Sports Drive after wrapping up their team camp on Monday. Marquette hosted 38 teams – 28 varsity and 10 JV – for their annual girls basketball team camp. Coach Smith touched on how the weekend went, what’s coming up in the summer, and how he expects last year’s juniors to step up this upcoming season.
The Packers made news today when they released Pro Bowl Defensive Tackle Mike Daniels a day before training camp opened. The Daniels news came as a surprise as he was expected to be a big part of an overhauled defense, and was in the final year of his contract. Luke and Tyler talk about how the move doesn’t make sense, unless there is a corresponding move to come.
