The Sports Drive: Anthony Broome Talks Vikings
- Updated: May 7, 2018

Marquette, MI – May 7, 2018 – The Northern Michigan Wildcats Women’s Outdoor Track and Field team had quite the showing at the GLIAC Championships in Ashland, Ohio. The Wildcats earned 11 All-GLIAC honors and 3rd overall as a team, the best in program history.
Anthony Broome of 247 Sports joined the show once again to recap the Minnesota Vikings Draft. Anthony gives his team grade, what he was surprised about, and what it’s like that the team he covers drafted a player from his Alma-mater; Tyler Conklin out of Central Michigan.
The Detroit Pistons and Stan Van Gundy have parted ways. Tom Gores and Van Gundy had talked for a couple of weeks about how to move forward, with Gores wanting Van Gundy to give up his President of Basketball Operations title, but Van Gundy refused. Van Gundy finished with a 152-176 record as head coach of the Pistons.
