- Updated: June 6, 2017
Marquette, MI – The Nashville Predators won for the second time in three nights to tie the Stanley Cup Final at two with a 4-1 victory over the Pittsburgh Penguins. Calle Jankrok, Viktor Arvidsson and Filip Forsberg all scored for the Nashville, but the biggest goal of the night for the Preds was Fredrik Gaudreau’s goal in the second period. Gaudreau’s goal had to be reviewed after play continued for over a minute, the goal crossed the line without the goal judge setting off the buzzer. Pekka Rinne had 23 saves for the Preds who now move to game 5 back in Pittsburgh, all tied up.
The Milwaukee Brewers ran into a solid pitcher on Monday night as the San Francisco Giants won 7-2. Jeff Samardzija of the San Francisco Giants threw 82 of his 119 pitches for strikes, he struck out ten and did not walk a batter. Brewers Junior Guerra gave up seven hits and two runs in five innings, he also had two strikeouts and three walks.
