Packers Season Comes To End, Patriots Steal A Victory and Pistons

Marquette, MI – The Green Bay Packers started out 4-6 on the season. Everyone counted the Packers out, the Packers rattled off 9 straight victories under the guidance of Aaron Rodgers. The Packers went into the NFC Championship game on Sunday afternoon against the Atlanta Falcons. The Packers fell just one game short of the Superbowl, losing 44-21 in Atlanta. Falcons Matt Ryan threw for 392 yards and two touchdowns to lead the way for Atlanta. Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones also had a big game catching 2 touchdowns will racking up 180 yards receiving. Green Bay’s Aaron Rodgers had a solid game throwing for 287 yards, three touchdowns and one interception. The Packers now go into the off-season with many questions on both sides of the ball. Will the Packers make any moves? The Packers season ends after a postseason berth wasn’t even in the question, good job Packers for proving everyone wrong.

The New England Patriots are now off to yet another Superbowl on the arm of Tom Brady. The Patriots routed the Pittsburgh Steelers 36-17 Sunday night in Foxboro. Patriots Tom Brady threw for 384 yards and three touchdowns in the victory. Patriots wide receiver Chris Hogan had the best game of his career pulling in 180 yards and two touchdowns. The victory over the Steelers give Tom Brady and head coach Bill Belichick the most wins ever as a pair of quarterback and coach at 24. The Patriots move on to the Superbowl to take on the Atlanta Falcons.

The Detroit Pistons welcome in the Sacramento Kings, a team thats currently on a five game losing streak. The Pistons have won three game sin a row and coming off a big win in overtime against the Washington Wizards. The big men are the story in tonight’s game as Pistons center Andre Drummond goes up against DeMarcus “Boogie” Cousins. Game time is at 7:30 in the Palace of Auburn Hills.
