NFL Draft, The Coach and Tigers Baseball

Marquette, MI – The NFL Draft kicks off tonight at 8 pm on ESPN. The Detroit Lions hold the 21st pick in the draft while the Green Bay Packers hold the 29th pick. The first round will be tonight while the second through third round will be tomorrow night. Round four through seven will conclude on Saturday. Coach Pete Kolbus stopped in this morning to give us his expert analysis on what direction he felt the Lions and Packers would go.
The Detroit Tigers fell at home yesterday losing 8-0 to the Seattle Mariners. Mariners pitcher James Paxton struck out nine is seven outstanding innings. The Tigers and Mariners will play a rubber game today at 1:10 pm. The Tigers will send Justin Verlander (1-2) to the mound to face Hisashi Iwakuma (0-2). Detroit has received a huge boost from Toledo call-ups this week from John Hicks whose batting .500 going 7-14 with six RBI and Jim Adduci who has a pair of three hit games. The Tigers are currently first place in the AL Central by one game over the Cleveland Indians.
