Marquette, MI – 12/21/17 – The Negaunee Miners girls basketball team defeated the Ishpeming Hemitites 60-46. Both teams came into the game undefeated. Clara Johnson had 24 points and Natalie Bartle added 11 points and 12 rebounds for the Miners. The Hemitites were led by Madigan Johns who added 17.

The Detroit Pistons were back on the struggle bus as they fell to the Dallas Mavericks 110-93. Mavs Harrison Barnes scored 25 points while rookie Dennis Smith Jr had 15 points and 5 assists. The Pistons were led by Anthony Tolliver who had a season high of 18 points and went 4 of 6 from 3-point range. Pistons Stanley Johnson had a high of 16 points while Andre Drummond had a double-double 11 points and 13 rebounds. The Pistons return home for a game against the Knicks Friday night.

Steve Whalen the owner of Big Boy stopped by this morning to talk NFL and the Detroit Red Wings. Steve is a big Packers fan and gave us his insight on the upcoming NFL games this week and his take on the Packers off-season that’s upcoming.
