Monday Night Football and The Tigers pull off a big win

Marquette, MI – The Tigers redeemed themselves with a big victory yesterday evening with a 4-2 win over the Minnesota Twins. Monday nights game kicked off a 17 straight game stretch in which the Tigers will play division opponents. Miguel Cabrera and Ian Kinsler both homered in the Victory and Daniel Norris had a great outing striking out 11. The Tigers play tonight against the Twins at 7:10 with Matt Boyd facing off against Twins Kyle Gibson.
Monday night football kicked off for the first time this year as we had two matchups. The Pittsburgh Steelers took on the Washington Redskins and Ben Rothlisburger led the way as the Steelers bested the skins 38-16. The Second game featured the Los Angeles Rams and the San Francisco 49ers. The 49ers came out hot and it showed at the end of the game in victory with a 28-0 win.
Blaise Zimmer stopped by to talk Redmen Football and Marquette Senior High School Homecoming events this week. The Redmen football team are taking on the Escanaba Eskymos on Friday night in the Superior Dome for Homecoming Night. Escanaba will be a tough task as they come in undefeated at 3-0.
