Michigan Commit Mustapha Muhammad, State Loses And Fire Up Chips

Marquette, MI – 11/15/17 – 2018 University of Michigan Football commit Mustapha Muhammad joined us this morning to talk about his high school season thus far at Ridge Point High School in Missouri City Texas, the Panthers are currently 8-1 on the season and are going up against Cinco Ranch this Friday in the District Playoffs. Muhammad is a 6’4 235 pound tight-end that had a long list of great schools to choose from, that list includes, Alabama, LSU, UCLA, Clemson and Florida State. He is Michigan’s top recruit for the class of 2018, he is currently ranked as the #44 prospect in the country and the #1 tight-end.
The Michigan State Spartans faced off against the Duke Blue Devils last night in the Champions Classic. The Blue Devils were led by Senior Grayson Allen who dropped 37 points and was 7-11 from the arc as the Devils defeated the Spartans 88-81. The Spartans were led by Miles Bridges who added 19 points. The Michigan State defense struggled getting out-rebounded 46-34 but did however block 12 shots, one away from the school record. The Spartans gear up for their next challenge, Stony Brook on Sunday.
The Central Michigan Chippewas defeated Kansas State on Tuesday night as quarterback Shane Morris led the Chips to a 42-23 victory. Morris threw for two touchdown passes on 247 yards passing and connected with Corey Willis on a 53-yard pass to seal the game in the fourth quarter. The Chippewas now look to their last game next Friday the 24th against Northern Illinois.
