Marquette’s Athletic Director And The Lions Win On Monday Night

Marquette, MI – 9/19/17 – Marquette Senior High School Athletic Director Alex Tiseo stopped by this morning to talk about the Redmen football team and other sports around the school. The volleyball, cross country and tennis teams all have solid programs this year and look to continue to be a force in the Great Northern Conference. Tiseo, a former soccer player in high school, talked about all the challenges of the game of soccer. The boys soccer team at Marquette has a great program and Tiseo talked about the challenges it once faced. Join us every Tuesday as Alex Tiseo stops in and talks Marquette Senior High School.
The Detroit Lions traveled to New York on Monday night for a match-up with the New York Giants. Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford threw for two touchdowns and the Lions sacked Giants quarterback Eli Manning 5 times in their 24-10 victory. Lions Ezekiel Ansah had three sacks in the contest while linebacker Tahir Whitehead added a interception. The Lions move to 2-0 on the season and are the current leaders in the NFC North. The Lions will welcome in the Atlanta Falcons this coming Sunday.
