- Updated: October 31, 2017
Marquette, MI – 10/21/17 – Marquette Senior High School Athletic Director Alex Tiseo stopped by this morning to bring us up to date with the school and the progression of the auxiliary gym. The gym will be ready for use in January after Christmas break. The Marquette Redette volleyball team is headed to Alpena today for their District match-up with the Petoskey Northman.
World Series game 6 is tonight with the Houston Astros sending former Detroit Tiger Justin Verlander to the bump to face Los Angeles Dodgers lefty Rich Hill. Hill has yet to pitch more than 5 innings in this years playoffs and Justin Verlander throwing a no-hitter threw five in game two. Tonight the temperature in Los Angeles will be in the low sixties as opposed to game one and two when it was over the 100 mark. The first pitch is to be thrown at 8:20 pm.
The Detroit Pistons are set to take on the Los Angeles Lakers tonight at 10:30 pm. The Pistons are currently on a three game win streak and beat the Los Angeles Clippers and Golden State Warriors on back to back nights. The Pistons are currently in first place in the Central Division seven games into the year at 5-2.
