Marquette Redmen Football Recap and the Weekend ahead
- Updated: September 2, 2016
Marquette, MI – The Marquette Redmen showed a lot of fight in Thursday nights loss to Traverse City Central. Quarterback Jackson Ostrowsky threw for a couple touchdowns in the loss. The Defense played well throughout the whole game led by linebacker Jared Prevost. Traverse City Central had the run game going all night which totaled over 400 yards of offense by the end of the game. The Redmen are now 0-2 on the season heading into a matchup next Friday against Sault Ste Marie in the Superior Dome that game kicks off at 7pm.
The Tigers have a three game series this weekend in Kansas City as they look to gain ground in the Wild Card race. Anibal Sanchez, Michael Fulmer and Daniel Norris will be the starting pitchers this weekend and are looking to build on their previous performances.
