Marquette, MI – 9/28/17 – Marquette Senior High School Football Head Coach Dave L’Huillier stopped by to talk about his football teams upcoming game against the Kingsford Flivvers on Friday and their big win last Friday on the road in Petoskey. The Redmen started the year 0-2 and have now gone 2-1 in their last three games bringing their record to 2-3 on the season. The Redmen are 1-0 in the conference and listed as the honorable mention in the “Big Five” rankings. The Redmen have their homecoming game this Friday against the Flivvers with the game beginning at 7:30 pm.
Bill Tibor, also known as the Silver Badger stopped by this morning to go over his NFL Picks of the week. Bill is currently in first place ahead of Ryan and Luke for the picks of the year. The MLB regular season is less than a week away from coming to an end. Many teams are still fighting for a playoff spot. Last night the Minnesota Twins became the first team in MLB history to lose more than 100 games the following season and make the playoffs the next year. The Cubs also have now made the playoffs three times in a row for the first time since 1906. The playoffs begin next week.
