Marquette, MI – The Detroit Lions are on the way to putting together a magical season. The Lions went to New Orleans on Sunday to take on the New Orleans Saints. Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford threw for 341 yards and two touchdowns as the Lions picked up their seventh win in the past eight games. The Lions are atop the NFC North Division with an 8-4 record. The Lions will host the Chicago Bears this coming Sunday.

The Green Bay Packers have had a tough season due to injuries and all the commotion surrounding Aaron Rodgers. The Packers played in a snowy game Sunday at Lambeau and came out with a victory under the commanding of Aaron Rodgers 209 passing yards and two touchdowns. The Packers moved back to .500 on the season and are currently in third place in the division. The Packers will host the Seattle Seahawks this coming Sunday.

Marquette Senior High School Head Hockey Coach Doug Garrow stopped in to bring us up to date on their season. The Redmen were in Sault Ste Marie over the weekend splitting the two games they played. They lost to Utica Friday night and won against Romeo on Saturday in overtime. The Redmen will be home tomorrow night taking on Calumet.
