KD Shuts Door, Buck Farmer and Brew Crew Victorious

Marquette, MI – Kevin Durant came to Golden State for a chance at an NBA Title, Wednesday night hit hit a big shot with 45.3 seconds left to help the Warriors inch closer to becoming Champions for the second time in three years. The Warriors are one win away from winning the title, Klay Thompson added 30 while Stephen Curry added 26. The Cavilers struggled without LeBron on the floor, LeBron ended the night with 39 points and followed by Kyrie Irving who added 38. Game four will be on Friday night in Cleveland, Golden State will have their first chance to closeout the series.

The Detroit Tigers got a 4-0 victory on Wednesday night over the Los Angeles Angels, thanks to Toledo Mudhens call-up Buck Farmer. Pitcher Buck Farmer came into the game with a 0.00 ERA and it will stay that way. The first game he pitched was this last past weekend in which he struck out 11 Chicago White Soxs batters, last night struck out five in 7 2/3 innings of work. Tigers outfielder Justin Upton hit a three run home-run in the 8th and the Tigers come-out with their fifth win in six games.

The Milwaukee Brewers are riding the Jimmy Nelson pitching wave as the Brewers defeated the San Francisco Giants 6-3 Wednesday night. Jimmy Nelson struck out six and allowed seven hits and gave up his first walk since May 23rd. Brewers outfielder Jesus Aguilar went 2 for 4 with an RBI in the fifth as the Brewers pulled away. Brewers closer Corey Knebel came in the ninth for a perfect inning for his seventh save of the season.
