Brew Crew Rollin, Tigers Split and Game Seven

Marquette, MI – The Milwaukee Brewers are for real. Manny Pina’s three-run bomb with two outs in the eighth inning capped off the Brewers comeback after being down six runs to win 11-9 over the New York Mets on Sunday. The Brew Crew swept the three-game series. The Mets have lost four straight games and are struggling both offensively and defensively. The Brewers will now turn their attention to the San Diego Padres a team who is also on the struggle with a 14-25 record.
The Detroit Tigers welcomed back JD Martinez this past weekend as he went two for three on Saturday with a pair of home-runs and three RBI. The Tigers split their four game series with the Los Angeles Angels. The Tigers fell in the final game on Sunday 4-1 as Alex Meyer shut the tigers down all afternoon surrendering three hits over seven innings pitched. The Tigers are currently two games back in the Central behind the Minnesota Twins and will open up at home against the Baltimore Orioles on Tuesday.
The Washington Wizards and Boston Celtics will enter game seven tonight in Boston at 8 pm. The Winner will move on the play the Cleveland Cavilers on Wednesday night. The Wizards won game six 92-91 at home, the home team has won every home game this series.
