Marquette, MI – The Blaise Zimmer farewell tour has ended. For the past year Marquette Senior High School has had the great honor to employ one of the best athletic directors in the state. Throughout the past year we’ve shared a lot of debates, rants, fights, laughs, smiles and love for each other, talking sports has never been better. We would like to thank Blaise for all of his amazing input this past year with our morning show, he was great addition to the station and we thank him for all of his amazing work. Great job Blaise!

The Detroit Tigers are coming off a day of rest as they get set to take on the struggling Arizona Diamondbacks who have lost six of their past nine games. The Tigers come in having lost two in a row off of blown saves from Francisco Rodriguez. The Tigers will send Justin Verlander to the mound tonight, he comes in with a 2-2 record with a 4.21 ERA. The Diamondbacks will counter with former Tigers prospect Robbie Ray who comes in at 2-3 with a 3.47 ERA. The series begins tonight in Arizona at 9:40 PM.

The Washington Capitals got a much needed win last night to force a game seven with the Pittsburgh Penguins 5-2. The series is now tied at 3-3, game seven will be held Wednesday night in our nations capital. This will be the fourth time these two teams will have met for a winner-take all game. The Penguins have won each of the past three clinching games.
