ABC 10’s Sam Ali, Redmen Hockey Dominates And Changes Coming

Marquette, MI – 1/5/17 – ABC 10’s Sports Director Sam Ali stopped by today to talk local and national sports with us. For those of you who do not know, Sam is getting ready to further his profession after taking a job in Duluth, Minnesota. Sam will work for Fox21, a local TV station covering all of Minnesota’s local and national sports. Sam’s favorite team is the Minnesota Vikings and he will finally get the opportunity to go catch a football game. We thank Sam for being such an awesome friend and great TV personality here in the Marquette area.

The Marquette Redmen Hockey team defeated the Negaunee Miners last night by the mercy rule 8-0. The Redmen had 8 different scorers in the game and played tremendous defense to come away with their sixth victory of the year. The Redmen dominated in shots on goal at 48-2. The Redmen now look forward to the Traverse City Showcase beginning next Friday.

The Morning Sports Drive will officially switch to the “Sports Drive” beginning on January 15th and run from 3-5 pm Monday through Friday. The show will no longer be in the morning as Ryan and Luke are moving to the afternoon drive and extending the show by an hour.
