Marquette, MI – February 22, 2024 – The Marquette Sentinels hosted the Ishpeming Hematites in girls basketball on Thursday evening, and though they fought hard, Marquette was ultimately defeated 59-48. The Sentinels were able to put up a good effort against the current UPSSA Division 4 #1 team, even leading after the first quarter, but the Hematites proved to be resilient enough to fight back and earn the win.
