Ishpeming, MI – December 20, 2023 – Marquette’s girls basketball team put forth a valiant effort on Wednesday night, but in the end, it wasn’t enough to overcome the Ishpeming Hematites in a 61-42 loss. Marquette, having lost on a buzzer-beater to Gladstone the night before, tired visibly as the game progressed, and Ishpeming’s fresh legs were able to outlast Marquette.
