Marquette, MI – April 16, 2021 – The He Shed She Shed Giveaway from Whitmarsh Builders and mediaBrew Communications has come to a close today and the winners have been chosen. All week Mark Evans and Walt Lindala have been taking calls from semi-finalists who received an invitation to call into The Morning Show with Mark & Walt on Sunny 101.9. This morning the guys took the last of the calls and selected the finalists over the air.
We again held our big giveaway as a week-long event over the air rather than a party at River Rock Lanes to keep everyone involved safe and healthy.
160 semi-finalists between our online registrants, on-air registrants, and our blue bucket entries. We sent out invitations to the semi-finalists to call Mark & Walt live on-air during a specific time and date this week. They were then put into the final drawing for one of the prizes. The guys put together cards for each finalist and randomly selected our winners.
Each of our five finalists went home with a prize provided by our local sponsors. Kim Ketola of Ishpeming received a $75 gift card from Super One Foods, Sharon Carlson from Marquette took home a Swick Gold Package, and Lucille Scotti from Marquette won a Michigan Gift Basket from Tadych’s Econo Foods. The 195 Gallons of Gas prize donated by Crossroads Mini-Mart and Kountry Korner Shell was won by Karen Collins of Negaunee.
