Marquette, MI – September 22, 2020 – Ishpeming High School announced a new Athletic Director and new Varsity Football Coach at Monday night’s board meeting. Liz Beauchamp will take over for Terry Roberts as Athletic Director next month when Roberts retires. And Cody Kugler will take over the varsity football program at the conclusion of the JV season, whom he currently coaches.
Former NMU hockey player Darien Craighead recently signed a professional contract with the South Carolina Stingrays of the ECHL, joining a large NMU fraternity to play for the club. And former NMU standout Men’s basketball player, Naba Echols, recently signed a professional deal in Croatia to play basketball. Luke and Tyler discuss the impact of former NMU players going pro.
