Marquette, MI – February 13, 2020 – The 30th U.P. 200 comes back to Marquette on Friday night. The dog sled race brings people from all over to downtown Marquette to cheer on the teams as they begin their 200-mile journey. Walt Lindala, emcee for the event, joined the Sports Drive in the first hour today to talk about it.
The Marquette Redmen host the Escanaba Eskymos tonight with some hardware on the line. With both teams coming in with just 1-loss in conference play, the game has been turned into a de facto conference championship game. Brad Nelson joined the Sports Drive today to talk about playing for hardware in mid-February.
