The Sports Drive: Eric Mason Talks Redmen Football

Marquette, MISeptember 11, 2019 – The Marquette Redmen enter Week 3 with an 0-2 record, but a lot of reason for optimism. Marquette Redmen head football coach Eric Mason joined the Sports Drive today to discuss the tough loss to Traverse City Central, and to look ahead to Sault Ste Marie. Coach Mason talks about the composure of his sophomore quarterback Austin Ridl, and the progress in the run game.

Tough break for the Milwaukee Brewers last night when, in a 4-3 victory over Miami, Christian Yelich fouled a ball off of his knee, resulting in a fractured knee cap. The MLB’s leader in slugging and OPS will miss the remainder of the season, in the thick of a playoff chase for the Brewers. The question the Sports Drive attempted to answer: now what?
